These three speakers will be sharing their lessons and perspectives on building the Botany Toyota Showroom.
Alistair graduated from Victoria University in the mid 1980’s and worked for Warren & Mahoney and Athfield Architects before heading to Europe. He spent 3 years in London on large Masterplanning projects and 12 years in Italy, where he worked on large design/build timber, monument and art restoration projects for the Catholic Church and the Italian State.
Returning to Wellington in 2001, he joined Herriot Melhuish Architecture as a Director, before moving to Architectus in Auckland to work on the Auckland School of Sciences and as project architect on the Christchurch Bus Interchange. In 2015, Alistair joined WMZ Architects.
Rohan is the director of Blueprint Consulting Engineers and leads a team of 20 staff on a range of residential and commercial projects. He is an experienced Structural Design Engineer with over 20 years of industry experience throughout New Zealand and Australia.
His experience covers a wide range of projects from low to high rise structures in all types of structural materials. He has a passion for innovation, using creative ideas to problem solve and deliver better building solutions. He is actively involved in timber engineering of midrise timber framed buildings – with a number of projects currently in design and others in construction.
A project manager with experience in quantity surveying, project administration and systems management on large scale projects across various construction sectors in NZ and Australia.
Specialist knowledge in the manufacture of bespoke prefabricated engineered timber solutions and passionate about utilising technology to improve the way we design and construct in NZ.
